I’m no mechanic, but aren’t those supposed to be connected?

This means it’s time for full send. Nothing more, nothing less
Yup you got it.
That is correct, and i would wager that your vehicle is quite loud when running
Just turn up the radio. Easy fix 🤙
Tow driver asked “you want to drive it to the shop?” 60 miles away.
He might've been trying to save you a buck. There probably isn't more than an exhaust hanger or two holding it on. It'd be easy to remove without tools
We had AAA at the time so it was covered. He did pull off the muffler and pipe and we threw it in the back. I was mostly worried about the cops pulling me over or any other damage we didn’t see.
Ya I know what you mean. My exhaust snapped in the same spot and I opted to drive it home since the exhaust wasn't dragging on the ground. Shits obnoxious
Still drives normally; but is loud.
Why would someone stop driving because of suddenly extra loud exhaust sound? Seriously, do none of your neighbors own Harleys?
Have it checked out - sure. But not drive it and call a tow? Just because it's loud? Crazy.
They didnt drive it bc there was other potential damage. If you run something over, chances are theres other damage than just exhaust.
60 miles is 96.56 km
Story behind it, wife a semi tire going 70-90 knowing her. She drove it scraping along for 10 miles until the next exit.
10 miles is 16.09 km
It goes to the part that goes Vroom! Vroom! It makes it a little quieter, and a free cat.
Or delete it for a weight reduction, lol. (Unless your area does inspections....) Then you will have to take that in to have it fixed.
Just did the muffler on my mom's 07 rav4, those things are huge
